Introduction
If you’re a fan of OPM music, you probably know about the Clark Aurora Music Festival. It’s a mega festival that showcases some of the best Filipino artists from different genres and generations. It also features hot air balloon displays and night glows that add to the festive atmosphere.
Well, guess what? Some of our iPhiTech members attended the Day 2 of the music festival on 16 April 2023. We had the opportunity to participate in the Clark Aurora Music Festival 2023, a mega festival in Clark Global City, Pampanga, Philippines. It was one of the most memorable and fun experiences of our life. We’re here to tell you all about it in this blog post.
The Food and Music
Another great thing about the festival was the food and music. There were many food stalls and trucks that offered a variety of cuisines and delicacies. They were all delicious and satisfying.
The festival had a stellar lineup of OPM bands that we love. Parokya ni Edgar, Spongecola, Kamikazee, Silent Sanctuary, Mayonnaise, and Ely Buendia. Chito Miranda & Jay Contreras with Kamikazee delivered electrifying sets that made us nostalgic and hyped.
We sang our hearts to classics like Halik, Rebound, 14, Jeepney, Kunwari, Buloy, Halaga Sa Ngalan Ng Pag-ibig, Ang Huling El Bimbo, and many more. Seeing these icons share their music and passion with us was terrific. We got to see them perform live and sing along to their songs.
The iPhiTech Team
We were fortunate to have a group of enthusiastic iPhiTech members who were eager to attend the festival. Our team consisted of a diverse mix of individuals from various departments, including web developers, graphic designers, managers, and marketing professionals, all sharing a passion for music and adventure.
As we arrived at the festival, it was immediately apparent that our shared passion for music had brought us even closer together. It was amazing to witness how music could unite such a diverse group of people, creating a shared sense of joy and excitement that transcended our differences.
Throughout the event, we enjoyed connecting with one another over our mutual love of music, discussing our favorite songs, artists, and genres. We relished the opportunity to strengthen our relationships and build camaraderie among colleagues from different teams. Attending the festival was an unforgettable bonding experience that we’ll always treasure, thanks to the power of music that brought us all together.
Hot Air Balloon Display and Night Glow
One of the festival’s most captivating attractions was undoubtedly the hot air balloon display and night glow. During the day, the sky was filled with dozens of vibrant and creative balloons, each showcasing its unique design and color scheme. Witnessing the hot air balloons rising up into the air, buoyed by the power of the flames was truly a breathtaking sight.
As night fell, the balloons came to life again, illuminating the sky with their radiant glow. The “night glow” display was particularly impressive, with the balloons lighting up in time with the music, creating a mesmerizing spectacle that left us all in awe. The balloons added a whimsical and magical element to the festival, providing a unique and unforgettable backdrop to the music and other activities.
The Experience
The Clark Aurora Music Festival was more than just a music event. It was a celebration of Filipino culture, creativity, and community. We had a blast listening to great music, meeting new people, and exploring new sights. To witnessed the night glow on both nights of the event also adds up to the excitement. We got to see the balloons light up in sync with the music playing on stage. It was a spectacular sight that made us feel like we were in a fairy tale.
We felt proud to be part of this fantastic festival that is also known as Clark Aurora Fest.
But more than that, it was also a treat for our iPhiTech team. We wanted to reward them for their hard work and commitment that brings growth to our company.
Additionally, we want our employees to relax and have fun with their colleagues. We wanted to show them how much we appreciate their contributions and achievements.
The Crowd
The Clark Aurora Music Festival was not just about the music, it was also about the amazing people we met along the way. From the moment we arrived, we felt a warm and welcoming energy radiating from the crowd. It was clear that everyone was there for the same reason: to have a good time and experience the festival to the fullest.
As we swayed to the music and sang along to our favorite tunes, the sense of camaraderie among the attendees only grew stronger.
