The event’s focus is to review the University of Assumption Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) curriculum. The UA had a commitment to providing cutting-edge education. They invited industry experts and faculty members to engage in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The goal was to ensure the program’s relevance and effectiveness. Notably, the review also embraced technological advancements. Some participants joined the discussion via Zoom. iPhiTech’s Continuous Improvement Manager graced the event in person. The VP for Administration of iPhiTech actively contributed online.

  1. I was part of the UA BSIT student technical team responsible for presenting the curriculum review via the Zoom platform. With esteemed guests participating in the review, our department gained insights as they provided commentary and shared their thoughts on the proposed new curriculum for future IT students at the University of the Assumption. What made this event memorable for me was that despite encountering unexpected rainy weather on the day of the event, we persevered with the help of online platforms like Zoom. This technology paved the way for the guests who could not attend due to weather conditions or other commitments to join the curriculum review session.
