Get Energy: The Power Bank Sharing Platform

Share this:

Get Energy was established in 2019, making us a young firm. Mainly, we offer a platform for exchanging portable power bank sharing in our platform. We have partners and provide our services all around the world. Our core technology handles all the hard work, including a worldwide user app, backend management tools, an Internet of Things connection using a hardware-agnostic system, a payment gateway, and much more.

Why A Power Bank Sharing Platform?

There are over 300 million mobile internet users in the MENA region, with 117 million of them connected via a 5G network. Some activities that are particularly draining on a battery are playing video games online, watching videos online, and skimming through social media. That over 75 million individuals in the MENA region deal with dead batteries is hardly surprising. These days, nobody can afford to be without a fully charged mobile device. They have to be able to access the internet whenever and from wherever they need to.

That’s where exchanging power banks comes in handy. You can charge your devices on the fly without breaking the bank by pooling power banks. There is no need to bring a battery pack or hunt down a charging station. Renting a power bank from a neighboring station is as easy as scanning a QR code. Use it for as long as you like and drop it off at any station in the system.

How Does It Work?

Our platform is straightforward and easy to use for both partners and consumers. All our partners need to do to start making money with the best cost/benefit ratio in the industry is to sign up for our platform, make some purchases, and start using them. We supply a turnkey system that can control many power station banks. Our business model allows our partners to grow and extend into new markets with no additional software costs.

All users need to do to join is download our app and enter their phone number during registration. After finding a station, they can rent a power bank by scanning its QR code. They can use any method they like, including cash, check, or credit card. They can return the power bank to any station in the system after they’re done with it. The app also displays the remaining battery life, remaining rental time, and total cost.

Where Are We?

Currently, our business spans six different nations. We have over 60 partners in the network, 5,000 locations, 400 thousand customers, and an average of 1,000 new users daily. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality service possible. Thus, we are always expanding and refining our offerings.

We’ve opened an office in the United Arab Emirates to serve the GCC better. We aim to launch in Saudi Arabia in 2023, securing joint ventures in the major cities of Riyadh, Jeddah, Mecca, and Medina. In 2024, we plan to expand into additional GCC nations like Oman, Kuwait, and Bahrain. We think there’s a lot of room for power bank sharing in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) because of the region’s large and young population, high smartphone penetration, and thriving tourism economy.
